How about some Crunch-Coconut with Blissful Banana Dog Cookies?
For this recipe you will need:
1 over ripe banana
1 cup of rice flour
1 egg
2 teaspoons of coconut oil
A sprinkle of chia seeds
2 tablespoons of desiccated coconut
and...
Of course, a willing taste tester! (or two)
These are similar to these cookies
But desiccated coconut makes these cookies even crunchier, hence the name
Crunch-Coconut
To make this you will need to preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees fahrenheit
Line a baking tray
Mix all ingredients together
To form a dough
To shape the cookies, I kind of rolled the dough into a log and cut slices
I sprinkled some with extra chia seeds for decoration
Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown
Then...

Maybe if I try this trick I'll get a cookie? |
that sounds like a great recipe - and a little pineapple juice and you could have a pina colada cookie :)

DeletePina colada for dogs :)
Perhaps we should try that
Sound great and love that you added Chia seed :-)
ReplyDeleteThose look fantastic!! I will have to try the recipe sometime!
ReplyDeleteThose look and sound delicious! I'm going to pin this recipe! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteUsually we don't like bananas, but they look scrumptious.
ReplyDeletePerhaps these will change your view :)
DeleteCrikey .... Mum reckons they look and sound good enough for her to eat! Is she mad or something?? If they're good enough for a whippet they're more than good enough for her, aye?? Now if only I knew how to turn on the oven ...
ReplyDeleteNo need to know how to turn on the oven. Rory's tips: step one, sit in front of human, step two: bark. repeat step 2 as many times as needed. If it doesn't work, turn on the whippet begging eyes (you know the ones)
DeleteLOL we have some bananas that look just like that in our kitchen! We were saving them for banana bread, but these look pretty delicious too! :)
ReplyDeletewe save for banana bread too, but this one was a little bit past that stage
